Our Project

Attention to all seekers of divine mercy!

Our dear Gopishwar Mahadev’s temple in Vrindavan is undergoing a makeover, and you can contribute to complete it!

First let me introduce you to Gopishwar Mahadev. Over five thousand years ago a Shiva Linga sprung from the earth in the holy land of Vrindavan. This divinity has been worshiped ever since as the portal to the most profound pastimes of Radha and Krishna. Most Vrindavan temples are four or five hundred years old; however, Gopishwar Mahadev has been around for over 5,000 years.

Gopishwar Mahadev is the guardian of the Rasa Lila and also of the holiest of places called Vrindavan. During Krishna's manifest pastimes on earth, Goddess Radha advised all Gopis longing to enter Sri Krishna's Rasa Lila to worship Gopishwar Mahadev in order to enter into the divine dance. Bhagavan Sri Krishna himself also worshiped this Shiva Linga with His own hands.

Out of love for Mahadev, who is still among us, we are fundraising to make His temple more beautiful.

Under the head of Ram Gopal Goswami, and his daughter Meenakshi Goswami of the Gopishwar Mahadev temple we aim to fundraise for this noble cause.

To refurbish the sanctorum where Gopishwar Mahadev resides, we need to fundraise $40,000 dollars (₹27 lakh rupees) of which $34,000 dollars have already been raised.

We have already laid the marble floor, and the walls are being carved in Rajasthan at the moment.

The refurbishment plan follows two phases:

Phase 1: White marble floors, walls, and ceiling - $40, 000 dollars

During this phase, the floor, walls, and ceiling will be changed to the best quality spotless white marble from Vietnam. The marble on all four walls will be carved with beautiful designs, and the ceiling will display the Rasa Lila of Sri Krishna.

This cost covers installation, carving, drain replacement, and electrical installation wiring.

Phase 2: Temple refurbishment - Once the temple sanctorum is fully refurbished, we aim to fundraise an extra £9,000 pounds or $13,000 dollars.

This money will be used for refurbishing the hall surrounding the temple room of Gopishwar Mahadev. The marble floor will be polished and the steel bars on the windows will be replaced with Jaipur red stone that matches the original building.

Finances are transparent; therefore a third party, Het Overseer, an accountant from Australia, is supervising all money movements.

Your donation will be received with gratitude, and will be used exclusively to refurbish the temple. We will keep you updated at every stage of the restoration.

I thank you very much in advance, and wish you Lord Shiva's blessings.

Har Har Mahadev!

Sincerely,

Meenakshi Goswami, and Ram Gopal Goswami.

Our First Project

It Starts With the Will to Make a Difference

Here’s some photos of the kind of work that we envision for the temple. With the donations we have collected, we've already purchased Vietnamese marble, which is spotless white, strong, and thick, and have laid it on the floor. At the moment, two walls are being carved with beautiful designs in Makrana Rajasthan. Once completed, the walls will be installed at the temple.

As more donations come in, the remaining two walls, and ceiling will be carved. The ceiling will have a full display of the Rasa Lila of Sri Krishna, which is the biggest blessing of Gopeshwar Mahadev, the opportunity to enter that divine pastime.

So please continue to donate generously so that we're able to turn this temple into the jewel it really is.

Thank YOU so much!

Ram Gopal Goswami, and Meenakshi Goswami
